Five Tips For Reading With Your Child

  1. It is never too early to start reading to children. Read board, bath, cloth, song and nursery rhyme books to your baby.
  2. Have a special time for reading each day such as bedtime.
  3. Reread familiar stories often.
  4. Talk about the story and the pictures as you read a book.
  5. Encourage children to predict what will happen in a story.
